The members of Trinity support worldwide missions through contributions to the work of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod as well as through individual direct support of missionaries. This page provides information about the missionaries that have been adopted by the congregation.

Dr. William P. Foster

Dr. William P. Foster accepted a 1996 volunteer assignment in Cote d' Ivoire, West Africa, where he gave medical support to the missionaries . He cared for Liberian refugees and worked toward an ongoing medical mission in Cote d' Ivoire. His work was a prototype for future medical missions. He also gave witness to his Christian faith by example and action.

Due to war in Cote d' Ivoire, Dr. Foster has returned to Nebraska and is now working with the Orphan Grain Train. To find out more about Dr. Foster, read "Christian Medical Endeavor." This newsletter details his work with the Orphan Grain Train, as well as the pursuits of other missionaries.  This file is in PDF format.

Dr. Foster asks you to pray that God will "keep me steadfast in faith in the Lord Jesus Christ" and that "I do God's will." Also pray that God will keep all missionaries and other workers safe in body, mind and soul. He prays that the Holy Spirit will help him spread God's word.
